Box type transformer: equivalent to combined (box type) substation.(American type transformer)
The box type transformer is of frame structure, welded with section steel, and coated with aluminum alloy plate and special paint layer to make it have strong mechanical properties, weather resistance and corrosion resistance. When the combined (box type) substation is an integral structure, the box is divided into three relatively independent chambers with steel plates, namely, high-voltage chamber, transformer chamber and low-voltage chamber. The lighting of each room will be automatically shut down with the opening of the door.
The top of the combined (box type) substation is provided with a thermal insulation layer. In high temperature and cold regions, the temperature in the box is easy to accumulate and change and condense, so the thermal insulation layer around the box can be added. In order to stabilize the temperature in the box, the transformer room and low-voltage room are equipped with automatic temperature control devices.
